Robert M. Beagle, 1991-2012

President David M. Dooley joined with colleagues, alumni, and friends in celebrating the career and achievements of Vice President for University Advancement Robert M. Beagle at a special evening in his honor. The celebration was held on Friday, June 22 at the Thomas M. Ryan Center. After 21 years of service to the University of Rhode Island, Vice President for University Advancement Robert M. Beagle retired on June 30, 2012. As URI's longest-serving vice president, Bob redefined the University's advancement operation, creating a new culture of communication, philanthropy, and pride in the state's flagship university.
